Highlights of this Draw
- Two different draws were held on April 19, 2022.
- The general draw (including tech workers) invited 147 candidates with a minimum score of 110 for skilled workers.
- A second draw was held for priority occupations, including childcare and healthcare, and NOCS 3114,3213, with a minimum score of 70.
- The last PNP draw was held on April 12, 2022, and invited more than 155 candidates.
- Candidates who have been invited have to submit their applications in 30 days.
How It Works
BC PNP invites people from the registration pool to apply to the program. Candidates who are most likely to meet BC’s economic and labour market needs are invited.
The assessment is based upon certain factors that include:
- Education – level and field of education
- Language skills
- Occupation
- Duration and skill level of work experience
- Wage and/or skill level of job offer
- Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region.
- Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives.
