How To Apply
International students can now apply directly to Loyalist College via ontariocolleges.ca International Application Service (IAS). Following are the steps to make an application:
Step1: Create an account on the portal
First, create a new account on ontariocolleges.ca International Application Service (IAS) portal.
Step 2: Choose the program and upload the required documents.
Applicants can pick the program they wish to study at the Loyalist College. Applicants are required to provide the following documents for review:
- Passport
- Proof of English Proficiency
- Original /Certified Marksheets and Degree certificate
- Original/certified and translated (if applicable) copies of the applicant’s secondary/post-secondary transcripts or equivalent
Step 3:Pay the application fee
Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of $100 to Flywire.
Step 4:Submit the application.
Once the application fees are paid via Flywire, it is essential to return to the IAS portal and click SUBMIT to complete the application.
Step 5:Download LOA (Letter of Acceptance)
Applicants can now download their LOA.
Note: LOA is a mandatory document for the visa application.
Step 6: Pay the tuition fee and download the receipt
Applicants will need to confirm their letter of acceptance and pay their tuition fees by the deadline indicated in their LOA. Missing payment deadlines may result in loss of admission.
Step 7: Apply for a Canada Student visa/study permit
Applicants should contact their nearest Canadian embassy to begin the process of getting a Canada Study Visa once they accept the offer letter.

Eligibility Requirements
For admissions at Loyalist College, international applicants must provide proof of academic standing equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) (Grade 12), along with transcripts from post-secondary education (if applicable).
The following certificates are acceptable from Indian applicants for admission:
- 10 + 2 with marks over 50%, bachelors – less than eight backlogs
Postgraduate Program Admissions:
- Must submit proof of degree certificate/ mark sheet of study completed in a related field along with transcript.
- Must be graduated with second class or above
